Introduction to Chronic Kidney Disease Research Center

The Chronic Kidney Disease Research Center of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences is a dedicated to basic and clinical research in the field of Nephrology and related sciences.  Our clinical research approaches are toward the earlier diagnosis and prevention of chronic renal disease, glomerulonephritis, and interstitial nephritis, Hypertension. Clinical renal transplantation, environmental kidneys hazards and genetic of kidney diseases are also our interested fields.  Our emphasis on basic researches is to bringing together scientists from many disciplines to do collaborative and multidisciplinary works with different basic scientist in the field of molecular medicine, biochemistry, and biophysics. Not only we try to solve some regional problem but also with a wider outlook we want to have a global vision. Our mission is to strengthen researches by inviting international authorities, young and emerging talent in the related fields.
